UAVLAS - Precision Positioning Systems

1. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products and provision of services by UAVLAS (hereinafter “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to customers (hereinafter “Customer,” “you,” or “your”).

By purchasing products or services from UAVLAS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Product Sales

2.1 Orders and Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to acceptance by UAVLAS
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion
  • Order confirmation will be provided via email upon acceptance

2.2 Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in EUR unless otherwise specified
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation
  • Prices exclude shipping, customs duties, taxes, and other charges unless explicitly stated

2.3 Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be specified in the quotation or invoice
  • Payment must be received before shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit card, or as mutually agreed

2.4 Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing
  • Title and risk of loss pass to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier
  • The Customer is responsible for customs clearance and import duties in the destination country

3. Warranty

3.1 Standard Warranty Period

UAVLAS provides a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery for all products, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.

3.2 Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Component failures under normal operating conditions
  • Defects arising from design or production errors

3.3 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation, operation, or maintenance
  • Damage from accidents, abuse, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from environmental conditions exceeding specified operating parameters
  • Damage from power surges, lightning, or improper electrical supply
  • Products with altered or removed serial numbers
  • Consumable items (cables, connectors, etc.) unless defective at delivery
  • Damage during shipping (unless shipped by UAVLAS)

3.4 Warranty Claims Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Support: Email info@uavlas.com with:

    • Product model and serial number
    • Purchase date and order number
    • Detailed description of the defect
    • Photos or videos demonstrating the issue
  2. Claim Review: UAVLAS will review the claim within 5 business days and determine if the issue is covered under warranty

  3. Return Authorization: If approved, UAVLAS will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

  4. Shipping to UAVLAS:

    • Customer is responsible for shipping to UAVLAS (including custom clearance if applicable)unless otherwise agreed in a separate service agreement
    • Pack the product securely to prevent damage during transit
    • Include the RMA number on the package
    • Ship to the address provided by UAVLAS
  5. Repair or Replacement:

    • UAVLAS will repair or replace the defective product at our discretion
    • Repair time: 4-8 weeks from receipt of the product
    • UAVLAS will notify you when repair is complete
  6. Return Shipping:

    • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in a separate service agreement
    • UAVLAS will ship the repaired/replaced product to your specified address

3.5 Extended Warranty and Service Agreements

  • Extended warranty periods may be purchased separately
  • Custom service agreements with different terms (including shipping coverage, faster repair times, on-site service) can be negotiated
  • Contact our sales team for extended warranty and service agreement options

3.6 Warranty Limitations

  • This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by UAVLAS
  • UAVLAS’s maximum liability under warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product
  • UAVLAS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages

4. Returns and Refunds

4.1 Return Eligibility

  • Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging
  • Custom-configured or specially ordered products are non-returnable
  • Return authorization must be obtained before returning any product

4.2 Return Process

  • Contact info@uavlas.com to request a return authorization
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product
  • Restocking fee of 15% may apply

4.3 Damaged or Defective on Arrival

  • Report any damage or defects within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of damage to packaging and product
  • UAVLAS will arrange replacement or repair at no cost to the Customer

5. Technical Support

5.1 Support Services

UAVLAS provides technical support for:

  • Product installation and integration
  • Configuration and setup assistance
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Documentation and user guides

5.2 Support Channels

  • Response Time: We aim to respond within 2 business days

5.3 Support Limitations

  • Support is provided in English
  • Support is available during business hours (CET timezone)
  • On-site support is available as a paid service

6. Software and Firmware

6.1 Updates

  • UAVLAS may release software and firmware updates periodically
  • Updates are provided free of charge during the warranty period
  • Updates may add features, improve performance, or fix issues

6.2 License

  • Software and firmware are licensed, not sold
  • Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying software is prohibited

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in UAVLAS products, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, remain the property of UAVLAS. Customer may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute proprietary information
  • Use UAVLAS trademarks without written permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Maximum Liability

UAVLAS’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to products or services shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the Customer for the specific product.

8.2 Excluded Damages

UAVLAS is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Costs of substitute products or services
  • Damage to aircraft, equipment, or property
  • Personal injury (except as required by applicable law)

8.3 Safety and Use

  • UAVLAS products are precision positioning aids and should not be relied upon as the sole means of navigation or safety
  • Customer is responsible for safe operation of aircraft and compliance with aviation regulations
  • Products must be operated within specified parameters and limitations

9. Force Majeure

UAVLAS is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters, war, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Strikes or labor disputes
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Pandemics or health emergencies

10. Compliance and Regulations

10.1 Export Control

UAVLAS products may be subject to export control regulations. Customer is responsible for:

  • Compliance with export control laws in all applicable jurisdictions
  • Obtaining necessary export licenses or permits
  • Not exporting products to prohibited countries or entities

10.2 Aviation Regulations

  • Customer is responsible for compliance with aviation regulations in their jurisdiction
  • Customer must ensure proper installation and certification if required
  • UAVLAS products are experimental/research equipment unless explicitly certified

11. Data Protection and Privacy

UAVLAS respects customer privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. We collect and process personal data only as necessary for:

  • Order processing and fulfillment
  • Product support and warranty service
  • Communication regarding products and services

Customer data will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to fulfill orders and provide services.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

  • Parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction in Poland

13. Modifications to Terms

UAVLAS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective:

  • Immediately for new orders placed after the modification date
  • Upon renewal for existing service agreements
  • As specified in any amendment notice

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any quotation, order confirmation, or separate written agreement, constitute the entire agreement between UAVLAS and the Customer regarding products and services.
